GENERAL

Jen Moore is not a trained medical professional. She is an “Expert by Experience” and uses her own personal experiences, combined with the latest research to educate and campaign for change. 

Her work is intended to supplement, not replace, the advice of a trained, expert, medical professional. If you know or suspect that you have endometriosis, please consult a specialist.

Jen is open about which treatments she has undertaken and who conducted those treatments, but she does not recommend any particular surgeon.

Jen specifically disclaims any liability, loss, or risk, personal or otherwise that is incurred as a consequence, direct or indirectly of the use and application of any of her content/information or resources.

Jen works with a wide variety of businesses, individuals, organisations and institutions. These will all hereby be referred to as The Client. 

WORKING TOGETHER

The Client agrees that any recorded or written material included as part of the sessions is protected by Trademark and Copyright laws and may not be used without obtaining prior written permission. The Client agrees to not record the session or any part thereof (video or audio) without permission from Jen. Any images or footage must be shared with Jen. 

Jen retains the right to share partnerships, speaking arrangements and other work, unless specifically excluded by prior agreement (see Confidentiality). This may include photographs, video or company logos.

If any legal action, including arbitration or an action for declaratory relief is brought about to enforce this agreement, Jen Moore will be entitled to legal fees, which may be set by the arbitrators or the court in the same action, or in a separate action brought for that purpose, in addition to any other relief to which Jen Moore may be entitled. 

SESSION PROCEDURES

Sessions are conducted in person or online (depending on which package The Client has booked). 

Jen and The Client commit to start and finish on time. If The Client is late then they understand that the session will be hindered. 

Jen is always happy to be open and honest about her experiences with endometriosis, adenomyosis and navigating the healthcare system. Any topics that are not to be covered will be mentioned in advance. Jen and The Client will respect and adhere to those restrictions.

Any abusive or inappropriate comments or behaviours will not be tolerated and will result in the termination of the session. Full payment will still be due. 

CONTENT CREATION

If Jen and The Client are working together on a content creation basis, an agreement setting out the scope of work, timeline and payment is required. 

Any additional content requested outside of the scope will be invoiced separately.

Changes to content which followed a script provided by The Client will be additionally charged for. 

Otherwise, one change to content is included in the agreement. Any further changes will be invoiced separately. 

PAYMENTS

Payment is due under the terms of the invoice.

There is no refund policy under any circumstances once a talk or workshop has taken place. 

Travel costs and any other expenses (food, drink accommodation) are the responsibility of The Client.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Jen often partners with companies or undertakes work that is highly confidential.  Jen is happy to sign NDAs where appropriate and reasonable.
